About Lanzarote

Lanzarote is the most easterly of the Canary Islands, with its coasts at only 100 Km. from Western Africa, on the same latitude as the Bahamas and Florida.

Lanzarote is known as the Volcanoes Island, having no less than 300 craters. The surface area measures 800 Km², is 60 Km. from north to south and only 21 Km. at its widest point.

The climate is very mild, The average monthly temperature ranges from 18º C in winter, to 23º C during the summer. The sea temperatures being only a few degrees less.

Due to lack of rain, Lanzarote's entire water supply consists of desalinated and treated sea water.
